Yorkshire Cat Rescue
Yorkshire Cat Rescue is dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens in Yorkshire and beyond.
Founded with a vision of a world where all cats and kittens lead happy lives free from harm and unnecessary suffering, the charity is committed to doing what's right for every cat in its care. Their mission is to ensure cats in need have a good life, promoting compassion and respect towards them.
Based in Keighley and supported by numerous fosterers across Yorkshire, Yorkshire Cat Rescue provides food, love, shelter, and essential veterinary care to cats until they are adopted into forever loving homes.
All cats under their care receive neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and any other necessary medical and behavioural treatments before they are rehomed.
Operating with a no-kill policy, except in cases where euthanasia is recommended by vets for quality of life reasons, the charity often cares for chronically ill cats and kittens.
These animals, despite their health challenges, can still enjoy a quality life with long-term medication and treatment. Yorkshire Cat Rescue ensures that every cat, regardless of its condition, is cared for until a suitable home is found, embodying their commitment to the welfare and happiness of cats.
